the entrance to the hellmouth can be found in the basement. the hellmouth serves as a portal between earth and the underworld. the students are unaware of what it is or even that there is anything unusual in the basement. only demons, vampires, and the scoobies know about it. the scoobies often times find themselves in the basement, trying to close the opening whenever a demon opens it.

No New Posts cafeteria

technically the hellmouth is in the basement, but it is directly below the cafeteria. many of the school’s strange occurrences happen in the cafeteria, but most just take it as a coincidence and nothing more. to the average person the room looks like a normal cafeteria with circular tables placed all about, but upon closer inspection there are a few red stains on the walls and floor.

sunnyville high school
as the main high school in sunnyville, situated over a hellmouth, many of its alumni go on to do great things, or at least become supernaturally empowered. at least a fourth of the school’s population eventually become a vampire or die mysteriously. students tend to know more about the supernatural than their parents. sunnyville high gives a whole new meaning to high school hell.
